Educational Qualifications for BTSC Technician Recruitment 2025
The qualifications for all technician vacancies in BTSC Technician Recruitment 2025 are the same and mentioned below:

Age Limit for BTSC Technician Recruitment 2025
The age limits are the same for all technician vacancies and are mentioned below:
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age Limit
- Unreserved: – 37 years
- Unreserved Female: – 40 years
- Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male/Female): – 40 years
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male/Female): – 42 years
The date of age reckoning is 1st of August 2025.
NOTE: Age relaxation only applies to candidates with permanent residence in Bihar. Candidates with domiciles outside Bihar will be considered in the General category.
Application Fee Details
The prescribed application fee for all technician posts and OT Assistant posts is:

- Differently-abled candidates of all categories will have to deposit one-fourth of the examination fee prescribed for the unreserved category. That is, if the prescribed fee for an unreserved category candidate is ₹600, then a differently-abled candidate will have to pay only ₹150 as an examination fee.
- The application fee by the candidates will be deposited only through Online Mode via Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI, and a copy of the receipt will be kept safe by the applicant. (Note:- Payment of the fee shall be accepted through online mode only.)
- In online payment, the candidate will also have to pay the charges prescribed by various banks in addition to the above examination fee, which will be automatically taken by the bank as bank charges during the online payment process.
- All candidates of all categories who deposit the application fee according to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and disability, and if they do not submit the relevant certificate in the future, their candidature will be canceled based on the Concessional Application Fee. Differently-abled candidates and candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe categories are informed in this regard that if they voluntarily deposit the application fee as per general candidates, their candidature will remain secure on this point.
Selection Process for BTSC Technician Recruitment 2025
The Commission will select candidates based on a written competitive examination and work experience. The merit list of candidates for selection is based on the written competitive examination and work experience for the BTSC Technician Recruitment 2025 is as follows:
